PAX Ergo-Mat

The PAX Ergo-Mat is a vacuum mattress with an anatomical V-shape and a specially designed head section to allow the use of restraining straps on ambulance stretchers. Made of durable, lightweight material, it is equipped with several carrying handles and 5 colour-coded restraint straps. It offers comfort, convenience and ease of cleaning thanks to its recessed strap loops and loops, fully enclosed carrying handles and multi-chamber mattress system with 2-layer construction. It adapts to a wide range of patient sizes and weight classes. It is also available in versions with the addition of 2 handles in the head section, with handle bar and with additional neck support.

HEAD FIXATION

The PAX Head Fixation, designed to specifically immobilise the head, is drawn together with the mattress, hardening by decompression and thus providing sufficient support to prevent hyperflexion of the neck area during transport. It is equipped with fastening straps for the chin and forehead and two additional handles on the outer side.

The use of PAX-Flex Tec MP material ensures that the surface of your PAX Vacuum Mattress or PAX Vacuum Splints is soft and supple. This significantly increases patient comfort.

The PAX Ergo-Mat don’t use a Velcro system for belt fixation system and use the PAX Buckles instead – this is easier to clean. Especially when opening, this prevents the unintentional movement of the patient‘s extremities.

The PAX Ergo-Mat Handle Bar version, which includes a handle bar, fulfils the requirements of EN 1865-1 and the recommendations of the S3 – Polytrauma guideline.
